Bath time is a nearly nightly event in our house. Why? Because it probably rivals going to the park on the kiddos list of fun things to do. Timmy and Gemma are still pretty picky eaters but we definitely lucked out in the bath department. The end of dinner signals the beginning of bath time, with both kiddos practically shedding clothing (yes, Gemma has already learned how to take off her clothes...little stinker!) as they race down the hallway for the bathroom.
Timmy's swimming lessons are going so well. Now he insists on wearing his goggles during his bath and pretending to swim. This mommy is just thrilled her little dude shares her love of the water. He's putting his entire head below the surface, can semi float on his back, kicks like a crazy person, and can bob underwater while blowing bubbles. If you live on Bainbridge, Marilyn Belieu is the BEST swim instructor there is. Send me an email if you want her contact info. All she requires is that your kid be potty trained. If it wasn't for that, I might seriously consider signing Gemma up for lessons as well. She mimics everything Timmy does...including blowing bubbles in the bathtub. I spend nearly the entirety of Timmy's lesson scrambling to keep Gemma OUT of the pool:)
